What should I do if my ROV floods?

First turn off the power if you haven't already done so.

Open up the hull and drain the water.

Remove any of the affected components.

If you were in salt or brackish water, thoroughly rinse the affected components in fresh water.

After rinsing, use a hair dryer on low setting to remove most of the surface water.

Soak the affected components in alcohol to remove the remaining water.

Remove the affected components from the alcohol and let them air dry.

Reassemble the components.

If you have a bubble tester or pressure tank, verify that there are no leaks. if you do not have a bubble tester or pressure tank, VideoRay can perform a pressure test for you.
