NO. Always plug and unplug the connections while the system is powered off. Making connections while the system is powered could damaged the communications chips on the ROV or control panel circuit boards.

On the VideoRay Scout, Explorer, Pro3, GTO, and DeepBlue models, is it safe to connect or disconnect the ROV or tether to the Control Panel while it is powered?
