The number one user-preventable problem reported to VideoRay Technical Support is a flooded ROV because the user failed to inspect and maintain their thruster cartridge seals properly.
This is also one of the most costly repairs, and is usually not covered by the warranty unless the cartridge seal itself is determined to have failed prematurely (which is very rare).
