Is there a maintenance schedule for VideoRay systems?

Before every dive, perform the pre-dive checklist. After every dive, perform the post-dive checks. It is important to catch any small problems before they could be major problem.

Some key points:

  1. Cartridge seals should be replaced when the oil level is less than 50% or appears damaged or contaminated
  2. Main domes can be replaced when the camera viewing area is scratched.
  3. Motors should be replaced if the shaft appears bent (Remove the propellers to check - some propellers have a slight wobble)
  4. The desiccant pack can be replaced when the blue indicator turns pink, especially if there are signs of moisture in the ROV. If the onset of color change or visible moisture is rapid, the ROV should be checked for leaks.
